R.A. Sharma

Dr. Ram Awatar Sharma (born 1953) is a Professor in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, Jiwaji University, Gwalior (M.P.), obtained Master Degree in AIHCA, P.G. Diploma in Museology, P.G. Diploma in Archaeology and Ph.D. Before joining the University in 1983 he served as Technical Assistant in ASi, Curatorial Associate in National Museum. He has traveled China, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Mangolia for paper presentation and under Cultural Exchange program. Two research projects ICHR and UGC are awarded to him. He participated in a number of explorations and excavation of Sooron (Gwalior) has been done independently. He has attended several Seminars and Conferences. He has thirty-five research papers on his credit besides two books: Technology and Material Life of Central Life of, History, Culture and Archaeology of Jhabua (M.P.) Five M.Phil and eleven Ph.D. have been awarded under his supervision
